Most job seekers lose out not because they're less qualified, but because they skip basic details. A friend had to tell someone to add their email address to their resume. The small stuff is what actually gets you hired.

You have to do the small stuff. I say this all the time. People that are getting jobs right now over you aren't actually better than you. They're just doing the small stuff better than you. Prime example, had a buddy posted online and he was like, he's like, hey, for the love of God, please put your email and contact information when you submit your resume for a job. That's the shit we deal with.
