Taylor Desseyn says put the month and year on your resume for every job, not just the year. A recruiter can't tell if 2025–2026 means you worked one month or twelve. Specific dates remove the guessing.

I wanna go on to your professional experience. So for me, I would always do month and year start and end date. When you just put 2025 to 2026, that is very vague. For me, it's like, did you start the job in December of 2025 and get laid off January of 2026? Like, you need to put start and end date with months and years. A lot of recruiters like to see that.
