Taylor Desseyn explains why your LinkedIn title matters more than your full profile. Recruiters scan only your title and location, so put your main skills and target roles there instead of a generic job description.

Chapters

Recruiters aren't gonna search through 40 pages of search content. The words under your name on the LinkedIn, I call it the title portion. You need to put the main skills you have and/or are targeting at the top. The reason for that, recruiters aren't gonna search through 40 pages of search content. They're just not. And so what we're gonna do is we're just going to look at your name and we're gonna look at the title portion and we're gonna look at your location.
