When you're job hunting in tech and get ghosted or rejected, it's usually not about you. The speaker shares how they stopped blaming themselves for lukewarm responses and learned that most hiring outcomes depend on factors completely outside your control.

You can start to realize that at the end of the day, most of the job search is not you, it's other people. You start to become in a better headspace. We were about at the finish line. They didn't ghost me. I finally heard back, but it was very much of kind of just a meh answer. But I was like, you know what? Like, I get it. Like, it happens. Like, it's fine. But it, it took me a bit to get to that mindset, right? It didn't happen overnight. So again, I just wanna encourage you all that it's not, it's not directly correlated to you all the time.
