I am a concert pianist who is searching for the timeless ideals of beauty, old and new ones. And I'm also passionate about sharing my art with people, and with Moving Classics internet channel, I am discovering, playing, and recording new piano music.

We are thrilled to invite you to an upcoming episode featuring Anna Heller, a visionary of contemporary piano music, concert pianist, and creator of Moving Classics TV. In this episode, Anna shares her journey and the inspiration behind Moving Classics TV, an innovative platform dedicated to showcasing contemporary piano compositions, educating audiences about modern classical music, and connecting global listeners through engaging YouTube clips.

Basically, the idea is very simple. It's an internet page, it's a platform for composers, new composers, emerging composers, and also famous composers of today who are writing music, music that speaks to the hearts of the contemporary audience. And I have a YouTube channel as a heart of the Moving Classics platform, and on this In the Moving Classics page, we have profiles of composers. There is also a written interview where we talk about creativity, about compositions, about the issues that are important for composers. And I also play and record selected compositions. So this is really Moving Classics in a nutshell.

We also explore trends in contemporary piano music, Anna's research on "creativity codes," and her role in candlelight concerts, known for their intimate and fantasy-like appeal, to reach wider audiences. Anna also shares insights into the challenges and rewards of freelancing as a concert pianist.

I really do want to believe that music and culture will help us people to be together, you know, from Gregorian chants up to the composers who are writing today. I really want to believe that these composers are writing more in the next 10 years and create new, better worlds, you know, and I really do believe in that.

Tune in tomorrow, Tuesday, January 28th at 8 PM Eastern Time on YouTube for this inspiring conversation. The audio will also be available on all major podcast platforms. Of course, if you are a Substack subscriber, you will have a day early access to an audio episode. Don't miss this episode packed with inspiration, practical insights, and thought-provoking discussions that every music lover, artist, and educator will appreciate.
