This is a YouTube video titled "XLookup - still a classical favourite." containing a podcast episode focused on FP&A, financial modeling, and the future of finance. The excerpt features a conversation between two speakers discussing Excel shortcuts and lookup functions such as Vlookup, Index Match, and Xlookup. The content was created on June 28, 2024.
What is the number one Excel shortcut you can't live without?
It's an odd one.
What does that one do? I don't know that one.
You typically shouldn't if you are a very stringent financial modeler. Copies left.
What is your lookup function of choice? Choose Vlookup, Index Match, xlookup or something not on the list.
Yeah, it's going to be Index Match.
Not surprised. Now, is it Index Match or do you use Index x Match now?
So my preference now is Index x Match, but I guess it's the bigger one. The go to is Ipswicker, but for functionality it's the Index Match.
