A look at how communication tech evolved from phones to the internet, and where AI and augmented reality might take us next. The speaker considers AI agents, Meta glasses, and neural implants as steps toward augmented humans.
Now we get it in a microsecond on Twitter. Like we're at war now. Yeah, I've been thinking about that evolution too. We got telephones that rich people could buy and then that became mass market and the audio sucked for a while and signal sucked. Or when we had dial up in the Internet, like mom picked up the phone, Internet cuts out your gibbo. Game drops. Multiplayer is single player now. And now we're here recording a pawn virtually. Yeah, yeah, it's wild. And then now the next step is I have AI agents making sense of the world, right. It's the most powerful microscope ever built to process all the information on our behalf. So next step would be, I suppose you see, like the ray Ban Facebook meta glasses. I suppose that's even another step of augmented humans with AI sense making tools situationally. Next next step would be the neuralink stuff and becoming a cyborg. I'm all for it, yeah.
