Short two-person transcript excerpt in which Speaker A, an artist, objects to AI-generated art reproducing other artists' styles and replacing commissioned work, harming artists' livelihoods; Speaker B probes whether A fears AI will 'kill us' or take jobs. The passage centers on fairness and economic impacts of AI art.
It'll do that because it stole that artist's art and I don't think that's fair.
And you hate them.
No, I don't like that.
Got it. Question. Do you think AI is going to kill us all or take our jobs? You worried about that?
I mean, I'm also an artist, so I am very against AI art. It's taking a lot of artists jobs, especially a lot of places I would generally commission artists are now using AI art instead. So a lot of these artists can't find livelihoods now even there's street art where people are printing out big AI art, just hanging it up instead of commissioning an actual street artist. Of cases where like chat GPT or whatever you can say like, oh, I want this image. Make it look like this artist did.
This artist style.
And like it'll do that because it's still that artist's art. And I don't think that's like fair.
