This is a YouTube video titled "Being vs. Becoming: Philosophical Concepts Explained" containing a monologue or lecture-style explanation discussing the philosophical distinction between being and becoming, focusing on how belief systems evolve over time through interactions with the world. The content appears to be a single speaker sharing insights rather than a multi-speaker conversation.
I think it was like micro becomings of micro becomings. That's such a great concept. I love that. Yeah, philosophical distinction between being and becoming for putting a boundary between each interaction that we have, each cycle of interaction that we have with the world. You know, I'm usually looking at that as called as what we call being. But there's a place where the underlying belief structures that you have in the world change enough where you can say I'm becoming something. Maybe through the process of learning I'm updating my belief systems to become something different than what I was before. And that's not going to happen necessarily on a second by second basis. It may happen over some number of days, weeks, months. You know, sure you can learn things in a shorter period of time but you know, in a frequency domain the nested Russian dolls give you change of how you're changing over periods of time. Short intervals and long intervals.
