This is a YouTube video titled "Brain Refresh Rate: Gaming & Our Primate Difference!" containing a monologue or talk discussing the concept of brain refresh rate and its analogy to gaming monitor refresh rates, explaining how humans process information differently compared to primates. The content appears to be a single speaker explaining this concept without a conversational format.
When we talk about the difference between us and our primate brethren and how we have this different. I'm just going to abbreviate it and just say we have a different refresh rate for processing data. Like how much time it takes in our brain and different parts of the brain for that information to be made sense. This is called a free refresh rate. Very easy. If you're a gamer or have a monitor you might have seen 60Hz or 144Hz or whatever. That's just the refresh rate typically in gaming and I only know about because I used to play a lot of games and semi competitively as well. Like especially in first person shooters, you want the refresh rate to be really high so that you get the information signal as fast as possible. You know, fast. The faster the better, right? So that you can compete. Like if they see somebody before somebody sees you, obviously that is better and that can be said for probably just predator and prey as well.
