A short, motivational monologue by Robert Ta urging listeners to ask themselves and loved ones a simple, life-changing question: “How’s your health and happiness today (or lately)?” He recommends follow-up gratitude questions to counter the pressures of capitalist comparison and to deepen meaningful connection, ending with a call-to-action to try it and report back.
Here's a powerful question you could start asking yourself and people around you and people you love today. It'll change lives, I swear. It's done so for people I know. Here's the question how's your health and happiness today? Or lately? Ask some variations of that. But it's down to your health and your happiness. That's what happens. That's what matters. At the end of the day when you ask your friends this, it makes them take a step back, makes them realize I should check in on those things and then ask a follow up question. Ask what are you grateful for today? What are you grateful for lately? The capitalism grind and the system has us really zoomed in on the shit that doesn't matter. Complacency demon comes out haunts our backs. It makes us feel like we're not enough, that we'll never be enough, that we're behind. Comparison is a thief of joy. So ask yourself what are you grateful for today? What are you grateful for lately? Ask people that around you and it creates magic. Go try it out, report back, let me know.
