ATRIAS is a humanoid robot the size of a milk carton that runs for 30 to 60 minutes on battery. It uses simple math models to generate walking and running gaits that mimic animals, prioritizing bio-inspired movement over complex hardware.

It's about the size of a milk carton, the size and weight of a milk carton, and we can go between half an hour and an hour on that battery pack. Why build ATRIAS? What was the game plan, the thought process behind building a robot like this? So ATRIAS is really a, like I said, it's an implementation of a simple mathematical model, and this is a theory that, you know, in simulation shows that we can do walking gaits and running gaits that really match what animals
