Shelby Richards, 13, got into robotics a year and a half ago after her cousin Savannah Jackson introduced her to it. She's already won a competition and has videos of her robots on YouTube.

Do you have a video? Would you have a video of one of your robots working?
We did not bring one, but there's YouTube videos. Yeah, we have a couple videos on YouTube.
We can take a look. We can take a look. I'm gonna do a little short video for our website. And you're Shelby— what was your last name? I'm sorry. Richards. Richards, yes. How long have you been doing robotics?
I've been doing robotics for, I'm gonna say, A little over a year and a half.
Okay, and what got you started?
Um, I got introduced by my cousin, um, Savannah Jackson. Uh, she got— she was interested in robotics, and then so, uh, she convinced me to try to start it, and then, um, I just loved it ever since, you know.
All right, good to see. How old are you?
13.
And congratulations for last week's win.
Thank you.
