Thomas Messerschmidt demonstrates the InMoov robot head, showing how Arduino controls its movements. Adding 10-100 millisecond delays smooths the motion, though the head and mouth can't move at the same time because the program runs actions sequentially.
I like how smooth it goes. How'd you get it to go so smooth?
When I programmed the Arduino, I put a delay in between each step so that it doesn't just go zing, zing. It's like it moves a little bit, it waits, moves a little bit, waits. I think it's only like 10 milliseconds or 100 milliseconds or something, but it It just slows the movement down.
Will the movements go at the same time?
Excuse me?
Does moving the head and opening the mouth at the same time?
If I knew how to program better, it would. But I'm very limited on how to program, so I can only do one thing at a time.
