Activa is a PLGA bioresorbable implant that shrinks 2% when inserted into bone, then expands 2% to lock itself in place. It fully dissolves within two years, leaving no trace behind.

And if, if you can do an absorbable instead of a metal, why wouldn't you? So we're kind of gonna come in right behind them with that same philosophy, but we feel like we've got a very different product than what they have. And then obviously nobody has magnesium. Activa has been around, it's a PLGA, so it's a lot different than what's come before. And there's some really unique characteristics to it. Most importantly, we, we call it the self-locking auto-compression technology. And so when you put it into the bone, it actually shrinks about 2% and it grows about 2%. So it locks into the bone and then it's gonna be gone without a trace in 2 years.
