Orthopedic trauma startups should target surgeons frustrated by too many similar implant options and hospital chaos, not those chasing every new product. Pick customers who value simplicity and standardization. Walk away from the rest.

I think that's one of the hardest things from a lot of startups to say is like, there's not everybody's your customer. You, you have to be able to walk away too. But you find the right people that are passionate about what you feel. And we've been lucky enough to find those. And there's plenty of people out there. There's a lot of orthopedic trauma surgeons out there that are like, thank God, I'm tired of being sold another plate that has a 5-degree bend this way and a 5-degree bend this way. And then I have 14 plates and I have a scrub tech that can't find 'em because there's, they're spread out all over the field and one's wrapped here and one's wrapped there. It's, I mean, the logistical aspects have just become such a headache. And we talk about like where hospitals are, are, are, are hemorrhaging at the seams with the amount of stuff that's part of this problem. Like they're just getting hemorrhaged with new product, new product, new product. Oh, I need this, I need this, I need this, I need this. But it's like there's now, there's actually rational people out there like, do I really need this? Thank you.
