At an AWS conference, the speaker noticed companies talk constantly about AI in healthcare but few actually build it. Regulatory approvals and multiple decision-makers create massive friction. Apple and others are now packaging AI into plug-and-play APIs, which could finally make adoption easier.

So I went to the AWS conference this year and I will tell you everyone is talking about AI in healthcare, right? What's funny is everyone's talking about it, but very few are actually doing anything about it. And it reminds me of my Stryker days where, you know, to get anything approved, you had to go to, you know, 8 different people, so much to get approval and to get things through, right? So this is the company, AI company landscape. And what I mean by that is These are the companies that are doing something in AI today. All right. So this is the application programming interfaces, API ecosystem. So in the past, if you were to try to, you'd have to build from scratch and you'd have to say, okay, I've gotta figure out how to build. The beauty of what Apple has done and all these other companies has done, they've taken these AI models and they've allowed the, programmers and developers to basically plug and play off of these.
