I was 31. My marriage is falling apart. Uh, I resigned from the Army, had no plan, no job, left Germany, went to Idaho for a flying job that was a piece of crap job, $1,200 a month, and, you know, to live on the ski slopes or something stupid. I kind of— my dad convinced me to come back to Atlanta about a couple weeks later and go to this job fair. Because he was pretty sure I'd throw my life away. He wasn't happy. So, uh, I showed up. Stryker had a booth there. There were a couple of guys there. They were both ex-military, ex-pilots. We had a few beers and hula hands on Peachtree, and I had a job. That's how I got medical sales. I mean, unplanned, you know. I think I'm definitely more the ride guy than the destination guy. Thank you.
