Smart implants can predict with 97% accuracy which patients will have limited mobility 90 days after joint surgery, using just two weeks of postoperative data. Early intervention for high-risk patients cut the need for repeat surgery by two-thirds.

So by day 14, we can tell with 97% accuracy which patients are going to end up with less than 110 degrees range of motion, which patients are going to end up with an abnormal gait pattern at 90 days. So already by day 14, these patients are starting to split off from the patients who are going to go on to have normal kinematics at day 90. And we can build an algorithm for risk of limp as well. And, you know, that's starting to be quite encouraging. And by intervening early, once we have this kind of 2-week data and then kind of increasing the PT and increasing the exercise of the patients who are falling behind, they've been able to reduce their MUA rate from around 3% to around 1%. So, you know, a threefold reduction in MUA.
