What does high functioning Value Analysis look like ?

High-functioning value analysis is the coming together of the quality, safety, and service aspect of a product, device, or service, but also the financial stewardship. And if it's a high-functioning one, it means you're having a dynamic conversation where you're including end users. You certainly include the requester of a new product, device, or idea, but you're also having their peers be part of the conversation. It really is, if it's working really well, then you are, you have a collaboration, you have a partnership, and it never feels adversarial. I will say that this relationship is deep and meaningful at Piedmont, and it has been one that we have fostered in my entire time here, but not just for supply or equipment, but in general, how we want to care for patients and how we want to run as an organization.
