A doctor explains why AI tools in healthcare won't replace human workers. AI handles routine tasks like documentation, but doctors who master these tools stay valuable. Patient care still needs face-to-face interaction that machines can't provide.

is in a world of AI where we have these digital scribes and assistants, etc., sitting inside our EHRs, why would we need any virtual assistants?
Yeah, that's a great question. And one of the things that people have to realize is over time, the individuals that are still going to be working are the ones that know how to use AI. So AI in general, it is made to take, take off of just the menial tasks, but there is a big component where you need face-to-face or person-to-person. I think that's a big part of the big changes coming on in the future. I know AI is going to take over a segment of it, but there's still human-to-human interaction that needs to be taking place, especially in healthcare. Excellent.
