RIVA Global Medical helps practices fill staffing gaps worsened by COVID-19 by outsourcing functions and letting clinicians work remotely. The company says this improves efficiency and profitability while solving a major industry problem: retention.
Tell us a little bit about RIVA, yourself, and what you do at the company.
Absolutely. So RIVA Global Medical, it's a, a company that assists either its small practices, big practices, hospitals, etc., to fulfill some of the gaps that are being created in today's society. What we find and what we found over the years is Ever since COVID there's been a very, very big challenge to staff and staff properly and keep staff. So there's been a, you know, there's been a big void in the industry. And also the upside to what we've seen going on is the acceptance of virtual work. And I think that has helped practices as well because, you know, the old adage is that practices they didn't want to outsource because they wanted to control everything. I'm sure you're going to ask a couple of questions on top of that, but the control aspect of it, we find that more practices are getting very, very familiar of what outsourcing is, and it's okay for individuals not to work in their office. They're feeling more comfortable, and which has been helping their offices become more efficient and in the end, more profitable.
