On my 26th birthday, I made a commitment to myself. I'm going to get a great business job. So I did something that was very unusual. I started a letter-writing campaign. And I said, I'm going to write CEOs of huge companies asking for informational interviews. And by the way, when I started this and I told friends this, every single person told me, nobody's going to meet with you. You'll get no meetings. And I said, we'll see. And I printed out every article on 300 CEOs that I wanted to meet. I got 80 meetings. And when somebody tells you something that can't be done and you have a passion for it, do not believe them no matter what. If you believe in what you're doing, it doesn't matter. I was looking for one. I was looking for one position. And it's a numbers game and it's a research game.
