My origin story is quite funny. I love wearing press-on nails, but hated all of the waste with the excess nails that they provided. So I always kept my leftovers in my closet. This particular weekend, my cousin was getting married and I thought, hey, why not use all those extra nails I have to do a really cool mix and match manicure? Unfortunately for me, I quickly realized I'd be unable to finish my manicure 'cause I was missing 2 sizes. So on the way to the wedding, I had to stop and buy another box of nails, which ultimately got me stuck in traffic and I almost missed the wedding. But what that did is I had hours to be annoyed as to why I couldn't just buy the 10 nails that I needed in my size. 6 weeks after that wedding, I opened a pop-up store in New York City to test the market and realized that other people had issues with the way their press-on nails fit. We quickly went into the lab and created Nail Street, a virtual sizing technology that allows for precision fit custom press-on nails.
