In this opening segment of a presentation, Andy Grayson, the Head of Strategy at Goodby Silverstein & Partners (GS&P), introduces himself, establishes his credibility, and provides an overview of the agency. He describes GS&P as a top global creative advertising and branding firm based in the Bay Area with a New York office, and notes its full‑service capabilities. Grayson highlights his 15‑year experience in brand strategy, positioning himself as both youthful and seasoned. He then showcases a non‑exhaustive list of brands the agency has built or rebuilt, emphasizing the agency’s work with both established and emerging Silicon Valley companies. To keep the audience engaged, he previews a series of short videos, including a new‑business video that summarizes the agency’s story and capabilities. The tone is conversational, upbeat, and slightly self‑deprecating, aiming to assure the audience of his relevance and the agency’s expertise.

I'll talk a little bit about where I'm from, just so you— besides the introduction that was just given, you can at least be confident that I'm qualified to give this talk to you. Has anyone heard of Goodby Silverstein and Partners? Awesome. We need to do a better job. No, we are one of the top creative ad agencies in the world. full-service branding and advertising agency located in the Bay Area. We have a small office in New York. As Prahal mentioned— did I get that right? Yes. Awesome. As Prahal mentioned, right now I'm currently the head of strategy at the agency, which is a fun job. And it's a creative job as well as a strategic job. I go out and talk to people about brands and the products that we're trying to help our clients advertise and help them build their brands. And I've been doing it for about 15 years, which I think qualifies me to be young enough to be relevant to you, but not old enough to sort of think I'm relevant but not be relevant. But you can sort of be the judge of that. And these are just some of the brands that the agency has built. Or potentially rebuilt over the years. This is certainly not an exhaustive list of some of those, some of the brands that we've worked on. But I just thought I'd throw a smattering up there just so you got a sense of some of the brands we work on. And they're not all big brands either. That's the benefit of being in Silicon Valley, is being able to get to meet people like you who are creating new companies and creating companies that have a very small footprint. Yeah. small beginning, but that can eventually grow to be a very large brand. And we've worked on a lot of those different brands, some of which I'm going to talk about as I kind of show you some things today. But what I thought I'd do first was just— everybody likes a video. I've got 4 or 5 videos to show you today. Yay! To break things up. Hopefully they'll look awesome on the screen rather than like a wave of brightness breaking over you. But this first video, it just kind of brings to life a little bit of what I was just talking about, about who I am and where we've come from, what the agency is, what the agency does. I apologize in advance. The end of it is a little salesy because we use it as our kind of new business video. But I just didn't have an alternate version to kind of bring to you. But anyways, this is Goodby Silverstein and Partners. Woo! All right. Video number 1 goes down well. Yeah, so that's us. Maybe you recognize some of those brands. Now hopefully you think I'm qualified to give this talk to you. Thank you.
