Meet Aegis: Transforming emergency response with an app that connects users to 911 instantly. 🆘

Aegis is a personal safety mobile application that modernizes the way we interact with 911. Aegis allows you to contact emergency authorities with just a tap of a button. First, you send an alert through our mobile application, triggering an immediate connection to our partnered monitoring company. From there, within seconds, our monitoring company receives your alert, your profile, medical background, real-time GPS location, and audio and video recording of your immediate surroundings. First responders arrive on scene informed and ready to help. My drive stems solely from creating a solution from a longstanding problem that can ultimately save lives. It was all a little bit of a blur, I think, with the adrenaline just going on, getting on stage. And it felt like a lot of the judges seemed to like the idea and felt— saw the need for it, which I remember feeling like, okay, I'm glad They see it and they see the need.
