Tim Draper discusses a plug-and-play AI tool that virtually stages furniture in property photos using data from retail catalogs. A pilot with Home Depot tests the technology in a $7 trillion global real estate market where virtual staging could reshape how homes are sold.
Do you think that the existing groups will eventually do this and this will end up just being a feature on their sites?
Well, that's a good thing. Our customers are real estate platforms, so the more there are, the more money for us, right? For us, that's good. It just shows the rest of the world that they need to plug in as well. We get more exposure. Since we are plug-and-play solutions, they tend to take our solution easy. It is cheaper, it's faster, it's more accurate.
Tell us a little bit about your pilot with Home Depot. We've built a data pipeline that can ingest Furniture. So it could be anything from living room, interior, exterior, and we can place those objects within the real estate property photo. Basically, you can style the home based on retail catalogs. We're not only tapping into a $7 trillion global market, there's a $4 trillion retail market. We're at the intersection of combining that into a seamless experience.
