Zeal could integrate into Square terminals to automatically recognize customers at payment, greet them by name, and flag whether they're new or returning. Unlike Square's current method of collecting phone numbers, Zeal identifies customers directly from their card, giving retailers richer data about who's walking through the door.

If I'm a grocery store and I have a Square terminal, Square already provides diagnostic information for that particular store already. What is your benefit to that?

So actually, we would integrate with Square. The way Square does it right now is they ask for your phone number and they put it on the cashier software. Yeah. No, with Zeal, I'd be integrated on the Square terminal. When you pay by the card, you'll find that the terminal says, hi Rosie, and it automatically detects you and it gives the retailer the info that this is a new customer, returning customer, et cetera, et cetera.
