Dan Rosensweig, who ran Guitar Hero as CEO and was COO of Yahoo, joins Tim Draper's panel. The hosts joke about putting a "Meet the Draper" song in Guitar Hero and riff on the idea that great ideas have no expiration date.
On my right, we have Dan Rosen. Swag. Swag.
Dan's good enough. Dan's the man.
Dan served as CEO of Guitar Hero.
We didn't have the Meet the Draper song on Guitar Hero, but that would have been great.
It would have been a good thing. It would have been good. I think we can still do that. You know what? It's not too late. There's—it's never too late for a great idea, which is why we're all here. You were also COO of Yahoo and CEO. CEO of ZDNet. Yeah. You've had quite a career.
That's why I'm old. You're kind of— I met a young Steve Jobs and Bill Gates and Michael Dell, and I know great founders when I see them. So there's great ideas and there's great founders, and when you put those 2 things together, the world changes.
