Despite hitting a 10-year milestone in 2019 and growing interest from regulators and enterprises, mass adoption remains distant. Lu says the space is still early, and getting everyday people to use blockchain wallets is years away.

You know, the blockchain just passed the first 10-year anniversary in 2019, right? So it's no more like first, let's say, years about the blockchain. Everything is about technical. But now more and more people are coming, like regulators, enterprises, service providers, capital, looking for the next Google, next Facebook, next Amazon. However, the blockchain space is still in a very, very early stage. If blockchain is going to change the world again, like the internet did. If someday my mom can use blockchain wallets, then I will call it massive adoption. Still a long way to go.
