The inspiration for me to start my company was the realization that the digital world that we capture on a day-to-day basis— our texts, our emails, our Instagram posts— really don't capture the essence of who we are. Fortunately, with technology, we can prevent that from ever happening again. My work with a lot of these artificial intelligence systems helps me understand that there is a huge opportunity to not only capture these feelings and preserve them for ourselves and for others to live and experience but also to teach our software, teach the algorithms, teach the products that we're building how to be more emotionally deep and complex individuals, teach the ideas of compassion, of bravery, curiosity, and motivation. I love the idea of building software that helps us out in our daily lives while making impacts potentially thousands of years into the future.
