Tim Draper discusses Musiversal, a platform for emerging music creators. The conversation covers who owns rights to user-generated versus company-produced music, equity stakes for creators, and monetization models. One Musiversal user won a Grammy.

So do you get an equity stake at all in the music that is produced? When a user produces music, it's their music 100%. When we produce music with the wasted sessions, that's 100% our rights. So you're gonna discover the next Taylor Swift? Yeah, we have a few teenagers using the platform and they're pretty good. And then you could take equity from them? Exactly. Monetization is huge for the music creators and they're starting to ask us for solutions. One of our users won a Grammy last year.
