You're never ready to do a startup. It's not an easy decision to make. So for all of us, we had to give up good jobs and a stable income. But if we don't do it now, there's no other time in our lives that we will be able to do it.
I grew up in a fairly financially unstable type household, and I always vowed I would give my kids stability. I have 2 kids. This is not a great time in my life to be not having a stable job and starting my own business. I think my entire life I've been considered an underdog. I didn't grow up with the right background, and yet I've continued to defy expectations. I was a 5-foot-3 Division I soccer goalkeeper, you know, like, I don't like when people tell me I'm not going to succeed at something. 'Cause I love to prove people wrong, that I'm just gonna fight harder and be a success no matter what. Go, go, go!
