In an ideal world, you follow what Cal Newport suggests, which is deep work for four hours a day, no interruptions, no cell phone, no Internet connection. I do recommend that. But you know what? We don't always live in an ideal world. If you can just spend one minute a day ignoring the outside world, putting your cell phone down for a minute and just create. Could be a poem, could be a 15 second video. But do something where you are truly creative every single day, even if it's for one minute. Please follow the TJ Walker habit.
