As someone who spends most of his time with ideas and videos and books and text, I don't really build that many things that are in the physical world. So that's why it's interesting to sort of step back in the time machine. This is a tennis backboard made of cinder block that I made with my father in roughly 1973. So 40 years later, something I built is still standing. This is at the Starclair Swim Club in Charlotte, North Carolina.
