TJ Walker argues you find work you love by trying many different things until enjoyment and skill click together. Professionals don't just do what they love; they love what they do. Sampling trades and arts until both fit is how you get there.

There's an old saying that the expression do what you love is for amateurs. And that love what you do, that's for real professionals. There is some truth to that. But lost in all this is how things go together. If you really want to love what you do, quite often you have to sample many, many, many things. Many experiences, many trades, many arts, until you find one that you love doing in part because you're good at it. And you're good at it in part because you love doing it. Please follow the TJ Walker habit.
