Let me give you the simplest personal development filter you can use. If someone is pitching you a system for success and they're producing worse results than what you already have, you don't adopt their system. You don't idolize them. You don't fly across the world to take notes. You say, I think I'll keep doing what's working already for me here. Because at the end of the day, this isn't complicated. You can admire values, you can admire culture, but when it comes to economic and political models, results matter. And if your model delivers half the income, of the poorest part of the United States, maybe it's not the future. Maybe it's a warning label. Ultimize.
