TJ Walker's podcast is moving to Facebook, where it will post one or two videos daily plus tips and thoughts. Audio-only listeners can still use the video files as standalone audio. The shift is part of a partnership to reach more people through the partner's marketing resources.
Chapters
Hi, this is TJ Walker. I'd like to thank you for joining me again today. I'd especially like to thank so many of you regular listeners out there. It's been a fantastic little more than a year since I launched this podcast and I've got some exciting news that's some very good news. Our podcast has essentially been picked up by a major media figure and a major player in the whole digital media space. I'm not at liberty to give you all the details, but what I can tell you is we're essentially moving the podcast to a revamped and much fancier Facebook page. My Facebook page is facebook.com tjwalkerspeaktoinfluence and so I'm going to ask you to go to that Facebook page, like the page, and there are going to be three updates a day there. There's going to be video, at least one or two videos per day, other thoughts of the day and sayings of the day, all specific to how you communicate more effectively. Exactly the same as what I deliver for you here each and every day. So the exciting thing about this is it's partnering with a new digital communications company and they are behind some heavy hitters in the Internet world and in the subject matter expert world. Some of their players are in the 1 million plus range of followers on Facebook. They have not one, but several new York Times best sellers in their stable. So I'm really excited to be with a bigger group, a bigger organization, people who frankly have a lot more marketing savvy and marketing muscle than I do. So I'm hoping to keep as many of you as possible and just growing the audience and having a bigger impact around the world, helping people speak more effectively. I do apologize for those of you who really, really, really, really like audio, only for the short term. I don't really have an easy answer for you other than you can always hit Facebook, hit the videos and just not watch the video because there's audio obviously in every single video I do, and it is audio that's going to stand on its own. I'm not referencing typically charts or graphs or other things like that. So you'll still get tips every single day of the week, sometimes a couple of different videos. So really hoping you enjoy. I'm not precluding ever doing just a standalone podcast again, but for the moment, all the energies of the whole creative team are all focused on the Facebook page, the videos in particular, and building a much larger audience there. So you're not going to get more new feeds or more new shows on this particular feed. This was the last one, at least for now, on this particular Apple itunes feed and Stitcher, wherever you're listening to it. So I'm going to ask you to go to Facebook again. It's facebook.com TJwalkerspeaktoinfluence and I want to thank all of you. This, frankly, came about from some of the guests of mine who appeared on this program over the year. One of the lessons here, sometimes you put yourself out there, you try new things, and if that thing in and of itself isn't a raging success, it often opens doors to to other opportunities that can help you reach a bigger audience and bigger success. So I'm quite happy about it. Thanks again. I'm T.J. walker. I'll see you over on Facebook.
