A brief YouTube short by TJ Walker (uploaded July 1, 2022) urging viewers to stop making excuses about being "bad at sales." Walker argues that many meaningful life outcomes require selling ideas or value (examples: proposing marriage, promoting a book/movie/podcast). He advises against selling things one doesn't believe in and encourages practicing and adopting a positive self-belief—"the TJ Walker habit."

Stop telling yourself I don't like sales. I'm no good at sales. I'm not a sales marketing person. No, everything in life is sales. I don't mean you need a quick buck and you're trying to fool anyone, but anything meaningful you're trying to get in life requires you to sell that idea, to sell the concept of value to someone else. You don't convince someone to marry you unless you sell them on the idea that living with you is better than other opportunities. You don't sell people on the idea of your book or your movie or your podcast unless you've conveyed its value proposition. Now I don't want you selling anything that you don't believe in or that you think is harmful to other people. But when you're selling something yourself, your ideas you believe in, that is where you need to flourish. You need to be good at it. You need to tell yourself you're good at it as well. Please follow the TJ Walker habit.
