TJ Walker breaks down public speaking mistakes in a live presentation and challenges viewers to spot them. He offers a free online public speaking course to anyone who identifies the errors in the opening.
Thank you for that lovely introduction. As you know, my name is TJ Walker. I'm very happy to be here today. Last night, as I was thinking about my presentation, I thought about what would be the best way to really open my presentation for you. And I was thinking, you know, the slide I have really isn't the perfect way of doing timeout. This speaker has only been speaking for less than 10 seconds. He's already made at least 10 blunders. They're pretty common blunders to make. Here's my challenge to you. I want you to write down whether you're watching this on Facebook or YouTube, put in the discussion form what you think the 10 mistakes this speaker just made. By isolating mistakes, it's easier not to make them in the future. 10 mistakes in less than 10 seconds. That's an awful way of starting. And yet that is the way so many people start. So please post your comments here. And as a thank you to you for doing that, if you go to my website@mediatrainingworldwide.com I'm going to send you a free online public speaking course course. You can see the link below. In the description you get a comprehensive multi multi video based course on how to be a more effective presenter. So you don't sound like this awful clown you saw in the first 10 seconds of this video. Thanks.
