A short spoken-video transcript by TJ Walker advising viewers to guard their attention because, unlike money, attention does not grow and is irretrievable once squandered. He urges listeners to avoid wasting attention on low-value entertainment and to adopt the "TJ Walker habit" of protecting and using attention on things that enhance life.
Some precious assets can grow. Money you have in the stock market could grow and grow and grow. But there's one asset that doesn't grow. Your attention. Once you've squandered it, it's gone. So please, please be jealous. Jealously. Guard your attention before you give it away to another stupid movie, another silly TV show, another idiotic super violent video game. Protect your attention and really use it only on things that truly enhance your life. Please follow the TJ Walker habit.
