This is a YouTube video titled "What would Lincoln do in the 21st century? #Habits" created on July 25, 2020, featuring TJ Walker discussing the importance of using modern technology for self-improvement, contrasting it with historical methods like reading by candlelight.
When Abraham Lincoln was alive, he loved to read, and he would read by candlelight by firelight. Now that involved chopping down a lot of trees, but that was the best technology at the time. But these days, someone who wants to read a lot doesn't really want to go chopping down trees or making candles from scratch. My point is, if you want to improve yourself, you always have to use the best possible technology available. That's why I find it bizarre that so many people are still saying affirmations out loud or doing positive self talk. Those are good, but it's so much easier to record it once using technology on your cell phone and listen to it. The people trying to persuade you to negative habits are using technology. You might as well use technology to give yourself good habits.
