Are apartments a good property to invest in? There is a common misconception that the thing that you should be investing in is land because land always goes up in value. Now, that is not necessarily always true and apartments are not necessarily a bad investment. What we need to start asking the question about, what kind of apartment are we talking about? If you are buying a small apartment in a high-rise building which looks like just like another 1,000 other apartments, guess what? That is gonna be a very poor investment, no doubt about it. On the flip side, if you are buying in an apartment building which is specifically designed for owner occupiers, great facilities, then that is a very different type of apartment than what we're talking about. When we're answering the question, are apartments good to invest in? What we've gotta ask the real question is about is what type of apartments are we actually talking about? Because they're not all built the same.
