Todd Polke defines legacy wealth as a diversified portfolio that funds your lifestyle while supporting family, purpose, and causes you care about. He breaks it into four pillars: mission and purpose, self-actualization, intergenerational wealth, and giving back. The key is quantifying your goals and taking personal responsibility to make them real.

What I'm gonna be talking about today is all about creating legacy wealth. Now, who here wants to give something back to the world or to their family at a bigger level than what they're currently doing now? Does anyone want to do that? So I want to share with you, like, this is where this is coming from. So what I want to talk to you about are the 4 different types of legacy, that when I think about legacy, I think about 4 different parts of legacy. Here's what the end goal of building a portfolio really fundamentally is all about. How do I build a sustainable, diversified portfolio of quality assets which deliver a consistent and reliable income stream into your bank account to fund the lifestyle you desire? Is that a reasonable definition of creating financial freedom? Like, is that, was that fair enough? Right? So that's why we actually go and build portfolios. And you know what? I want each and every one of you to make as much money as you possibly can. Handle home base being your life, but then give the rest of it away to something that you truly believe in so we leave the world and we leave the planet in a bit of a better place. You want in your life, create the lifestyle you truly desire, then what's the legacy figure and how— what do you want to give back and how much is that going to cost you? And when we can start quantifying these things as well, what it gives us is it gives us a tangible figure that we can build a structured portfolio towards, which the entire Six Star team around you, which is, you know, some of the best in the world, are here to be able to support you guys to be able to do. So I wanna talk to you about this, and there's 4 different parts of creating legacy wealth. There's your mission and your purpose. There's what I call self-actualization. There's families, family intergenerational wealth. And then there's giving back to the planet. Right? So let's actually talk through these one at a time as we have some conversations. Right? Mission and purpose is all about who are you gonna impact and how are you gonna impact them. I had this experience a number of years ago where for about 3 to 4 years I sent myself literally crazy trying to understand what's my deeper mission, my deeper purpose here on the planet and in all the cosmos and all this type of stuff. And I sent myself crazy for a few years doing that. And then I came to this moment of peace. I came to this moment of peace is that, you know what, when I'm ready and when the world is ready, more is gonna reveal itself. But in the meantime, I decided, okay, well, what's the closest that I know that it is? And as I started to understand that, I took a step towards that. And so as we have these experiences in life, we take a step towards what we believe that it's going to be. We're a different person than who we were back here. And so we've learned some more things, we've understood some more things, we've got some more awareness, and so it allows us to make a better decision. And then we ask ourselves the question again, okay, what's the closest that I know that it is? So when I think about mission and purpose, I think about, well, who are you gonna impact and how are you gonna impact? Right? What is that gonna mean to you? The next part is all about self-actualization. And we've spoken about this and a lot of people are here to be able to support others and letting how you live Matter. And, and so when you sit there and you talk about leaving a legacy, does it have to be big grandiose things? What can it be? Stories. It could be stories. It could just be the smallest idea. It could just be because just being a happy person, being a good human being, having a quality conversation that's kind of left a mark on someone or a good taste in someone's mouth. It could be something so small, but you're never aware of, you can never know how much that impact can have a ripple effect on other people's lives. And it's up to you. Like everyone has that choice and you also have that responsibility. And I truly do believe that. Who thinks in terms of their wealth creation journey, one more, yeah. Who thinks in their wealth creation journey that everything's just gonna be perfect and there's gonna be rainbows and unicorns and you're gonna be skipping down the rainbow path? Does anyone, does anyone need to be shattered out of that delusion first and foremost? Right, it's not gonna be. If you think it's gonna be perfect, you're kidding yourself. Shit's gonna go wrong, true? Yes. Not every deal is gonna be perfect, true? Yes. Not every, sometimes will take longer, sometimes you lose, it's just what happens. If you hadn't had the experience, you will. It's just gonna happen. Just deal with it. But you can deal with it at a time and you can react and get all, um, all like, oh, why is it me? Or you can go, it's gonna happen, so choose to deal with it now. It's called responsibility. No matter what has happened to you in life, and some of you have had some bad shit happen, I know. No matter what happens to you in life, it's At some point you've gotta sit there and go, do you know what? No matter what, this is my life. I'm responsible for where I am right now and what I'm gonna do next. Now, by the way, has any of that resonated with anyone today? Like, has any of that resonated? Okay. I appreciate you all.
