Before many of you know, before I got involved in the wealth creation world, in the investing world, I was a personal trainer, right? I've always been a teacher at heart. I just used to teach around health and well-being. I used to see people come along and they'd make all these New Year's resolutions, and January was a very busy time in the gym, right? People come along and go, "Oh, New Year's turning a new new leaf and New Year's resolutions and all this type of stuff," and then they go, "Oh, I'm going to lose all this weight," or "I've got this big." I've got this holiday, I want my bikini body, I want to do this, whatever the hell it might be. And so they set up all these different things, these barriers of getting started, where what they really needed to do was stop making excuses and make the habit of just showing up at the gym. And even if you show up at the gym for 5 minutes and you turn around and you walk back out again, but the next day you show up for 6 minutes, that is a win in my book. Because what you are starting to do is that you are starting to establish a brand new habit in your life. And that's what you need to do with your finances.
