Speaker A argues that pursuing wealth is a moral obligation because money lets you help others, while staying poor limits your ability to create change. Speaker B agrees that seeking wealth for altruistic purposes is the responsible choice.
I personally think everybody should try to become wealthy because if you don't need the money, you can give it away. You don't have to keep it.
I agree with you completely.
It's hard to do anything for anybody if you don't have it though. I mean, I don't know how you're going to help people and change the world if you don't have the money. So you might as well try to get wealthy for that purpose. And then you can help lots of people if you don't want Ferraris or anything like that.
And here's something controversial. Um, maybe it's actually selfish staying poor. I think it's 100% selfish being poor.
