Wealth building isn't a straight line. Deals fall apart, timelines slip, losses happen. The only thing you control is taking responsibility for where you are and deciding what to do next.
Who thinks in terms of their wealth creation journey that everything's just gonna be perfect and there's gonna be rainbows and unicorns and you're gonna be skipping down the rainbow path? It's not gonna be. If you think it's gonna be perfect, you're kidding yourself. Not every deal is gonna be perfect. Not every— sometimes will take longer, sometimes you lose. It's just what happens. Just deal with it. But you can deal with it at the time and you can react and get all like, oh, why is me? Or you can go, it's gonna happen, so choose to deal with it now. No matter what happens to you in life, at some point you've gotta sit there and go, do you know what, no matter what, this is my life. I'm responsible for where I am right now and what I'm gonna do next. And do you know what, there's gonna be some shit that's gonna happen in the future and you still gotta go, pfft, okay, what do I learn out of this? And then you're responsible for what you're gonna do next.
