Working with Todd's team taught three things: treat your finances like a business with spreadsheets tracking income and savings, don't accept no as final when facing obstacles, and learn from others' mistakes instead of repeating them.
A couple of things that I've learned from Todd is treat your financial life like a business and run it like a business. So you've got to keep an eye on these things. I've got spreadsheets going now. I know where my money's going. I know where it's allocated to, and I know how much I'm now putting away and saving. Another key thing I've learned is don't take no for an answer. So, so many times we come against roadblocks in what we're trying to do, And don't learn from just my own mistakes. Learn from someone else's own, their mistakes, their years of experience. And don't make all their mistakes again when you can get a team around you that knows what they're doing through years of experience and lever off their knowledge.
