Servicing multiple rental properties is harder now than 15 years ago. Banks won't finance five, seven, or ten properties anymore, even if rates drop. You need either much higher personal income or alternative lending strategies to build a large portfolio.
Servicing is a really difficult situation right now and let me tell you, it's not gonna get any easier. It's gonna stay really, really difficult. The finance world is not set up to allow people to buy 5 or 7 or 10 properties anymore. That was 15 years ago. Those days are done, they're dusted, right? No matter if interest rates come down, they're done, they're dusted. That's not gonna be happening in general anymore unless you're earning a substantial level of income or you can access some alternate lending strategies and there's a bunch of those around.
