Short excerpt from a YouTube conversation (Tom Burton + another speaker) about an AI-enabled sales alert tool integrated with ERP and organizational data. The tool surfaces year-over-year visibility by product category, pushes mobile/app and email alerts, and can schedule follow-up tasks for outside sales teams; speakers describe strong user enthusiasm and use a "fog" metaphor for uncertain conditions.
And basically all their sales team now had visibility on what was happening year over year by product category, really simply. And they were ecstatic about that. It was like, it was like nirvana in terms of their ability to see stuff that they wouldn't either they have to go mine it themselves or whatever.
So what you're describing is an AI enabled tool that looks across ERP and other data from within organization, identifies very specific, specific types of triggers and then says smartphone alerts and could be email alerts and so forth out to them.
It's also doing smart, it's also doing right on the mobile app pop up so they know what's, what's there for the outside team.
So they, and you can even through that schedule tasks to go along with that of what needs to happen next.
We're in this fog and it's kind of hard to see what's going to happen. Sometimes the fog lifts a little bit and you get a little glimpse of something, then it gets thicker again. I thought that was a good analogy.
